I thought this was a great value and great product. I have been wearing the garden clogs while out in my garden. They are light weight, comfortable and easy to clean. The gloves I've worn somewhat they feel nice and fit comfortably.

Funny I should get this email this morning. I am so very disappointed in the quality of the vidio of this film. It is so dark at times that images are almost impossible to distinquish. I don't know if it is how this film was originally released or in the copying of the original the reproduction was of such poor quality. I honestly would like a refund. Thank you.

I looked at some of the reviews before watching "The Tree of Wooden Clogs" and I admit that I was aprehensive. Three hours of boredom seemed to be the reaction of a few reviewers. However, I sat down and relaxed and discovered a movie that had a lot to offer. This film presents an orderly, rustic society that was comprised of workers and their familes who were "attached" to a large estate. They have their places and they seem content to accept them. There is a structure from within that sustains the society and its' members. When a woman with six children loses her husband, a job is conveniently found within the community for the eldest boy so as to maintain their subsistance. Little things like this are always happening in "The Tree of Wooden Clogs"; so much so that we may be forgiven if we miss the one event that causes a family's eventual eviction. It wasn't until after the movie was over that I was able to understand it's beauty. It was a study of how a society exists and how breaking the tradition can lead to the fall. In many ways it's like "Fiddler on the Roof" without the music. We see where a small change in the fabric of a society leads to bigger things. When the traditions and the rules are obeyed, the society flourishes so much so that the society itself will accept the expusion of those who don't follows its' structure. The cinematography is excellent and I was continuously impressed with the colorful surroundings and marvelous rural sets. The actors and actresses all fit their roles as though this was their real lot in life. The director gets praise for his subtle story that is woven through the everyday life of an enjoyably amusing and endearing community. To Life! To Life! L'Chai-im!

After "Novecento", the Italian Cinema experienced a golden relaunching based on an inner gaza around its social body (The Taviani brothers, Olmi, Scola, Rossi and Tornatore were among their most egregious artistic Ambassadors). Of course, we should not forget the invaluable influence of the Italian Neo Realism, but in this time Olmi was capable to explore the most glorious poetic around a reduced bu t expressive microcosmos, a small village of humble peasants, in the turn of the XIX century. Their little joys, untamed work spirit respect the nature (How can we forget the marvelous shot when the gradfather steals the wood for making the clogs for his grandson or when he gets excited at the moment to imagine how he will be two steps ahead his partners when the tomatoe is ready two weeks before the rest of the competence?), sorrows and the simplest things of life can offer, ellapse before our eyes with resplendent shine, marvelous photography and natural performances that will amaze you from start to finish. Awarded with the Golden Palm Cannes, 1978, this film is - at least to my mind - the best Italian film of the seventies, without any hesitation. One of these everlasting jewels that, once you have watched it, you will never forget it.

Wonderful to have this marvelous movie to share with family and friends whom I know will appreciate it. IMO, it's a genuine "classic." Great service from the seller!

As an award-winning Italian film, 'Tree of Wooden Clogs' examines a cross-section of four Italian peasant families during the turn-of-the-century. For nearly three hours we get the full deliberations of people who marry, work the land, and deal with their meager existence. Despite the adversity, they summon peaceful resolve with their Catholic faith while the winds of revolution blow around them with an agitation that garners nothing but their indifference. The heart of the plot revolves around Batisti (Luigi Ornaghi) a family man whose wife brings forth another son. Bearing a fragile existence, Batisti cuts down a landlord's tree to replace another son's broken wooden clog. For side plots, one elderly man finds a coin on the ground during a holiday festival and hides it inside a neighbor's horse's hoof, while a newly married couple travels to Milan to celebrate their honeymoon in a convent. For those who liked 'Into Great Silence (Two-Disc Set)' this movie classic will be comparatively moving. Almost identical in movie time, the deliberate pace is less slow, but equally beautiful to watch.

Foot Thrills are the first affordable shoes I have found that are truly comfortable. The arch support is just right and there's plenty of room for your toes. I have tried many so-called orthotic brands,but for me, these are the most comfortable and supportive shoes available.

I have a pair of the Muckboots Jobbers, size 6, which I love. I wear a 7 in other shoes. I thought the garden shoe would be the perfect solution for summertime quick runs out to the barn or kennels, but a 6 was way small, and a 7 flopped off my heels. Alas, not the solution, despite paying for shipping twice. submitted by Bill's other half.

I had to return both the size 8 and size 9. One was too big and the other one was too small. They need to make half sizes. The shoes are well made.

These are the absolute best garden shoes I've ever had - truly comfortable to wear and your feet stay dry all day long. Absolutely love the elasticized trim. In addition to keeping out dirt, stones, mulch and the usual detritus that used to work its way into my shoes, it greatly adds to the overall comfort. You can tell that a lot of thought went into these shoes. Even the tread pattern works well - it provides good grip in mud or on wet grass, but does not allow the mud and dirt to cake up like "waffle" tread shoes do. Yes, some mud will stick to the bottom after you slog through the muck but just let it dry, then bang the shoes together the next day and they are clean and ready to go. Very easy to slip on. With some practice, you can slip it on without using your hands - gives you the benefits of a shoe but the easy slip-on nature of a clog. Runs a bit large. I wear a mens size 11 that fits fine in a sneaker or regular shoe. The Muck Boot size 11 was a wee bit large - 10 ½ would have probably been perfect, but they don't sell half sizes. It does not distract from comfort, but if you normally wear a half size, you probably would want to order the next size down. On the other hand, the greater roominess allows me to wear heavy socks without any problem. If you garden, you gotta get these. I'd give up my Felco pruner or my Hori Hori knife before I would give up these! (Well, maybe not, but it would be a thinker as to which is more valuable.)

I take the dog out for a walk every day...about 2 miles. I figure I walked about 2000 miles in my first pair of Muck shoes, all on blacktop, before the soles finally gave out. I immediately bought another pair. I wear them on hot summer nights and in rain, slush, snow and single digit temperatures. Super comfortable, warm in winter, cool in summer and totally waterproof. I especially like just being able to step into them. I'm about to buy a pair of taller boots from Muck boots for when the snow's a little deeper.My highest recommendation.. Not the greatest looking shoe in the world, but in my opinion, by far the most practical, comfortable shoe on the market.

I would really have liked these except they run huge in size and didn't fit. Sent them back the same day and they are not in stock in my size. I keep checking in case they come in.

I love this shoe. Great for having by the back door to slip on when doing anything outside. Wished I had ordered one size larger though. Seems to run small. And it would have earned a 4 star if had a removable insole. All in all a good shoe for the price.

not just for gardening. i wear them to the pool too and other outings with jeans. cute and comfortable.

The clogs are ideal, but ordered too large, I can wear them and they are comfy with or without socks. They keep my feet reasonably clean, which was what I wanted.

I've used these shoes for ages to go feed the animals, muck out stalls, take out the trash, water the plants, fetch some wood, harvest the garden, as well as inside tasks. They are easy to slip on and off without bending down, which is especially nice if they're dirty and I don't want to track anything in. The insides are fabric so I don't have to wear socks, but the fabric is slippery enough that I can still easily get them on while wearing socks. They are cushioned inside which makes them extra comfortable. They have some give to them while still being sturdy and providing more support than you'd expect. They seem to be impervious to mud and stall gunk and can be hosed off easily. The stretchy collar allows ease stepping into them while still offering a snug fit around your foot to keep bits of dirt out. I've been so pleased with mine, I bought a pair for my son as well. These are great shoes for all sorts of inside/outside casual activity.

This is my first muckboot and I am very impressed. They are great for around the yard, camping, and walking/hiking. They are extremely comfortable and very cushioned. I will always have a pair of these laying around.

Five Star Rating! My daughter told me how good her Muck Boots were for the barn, but until I purchased a pair of the Edwater Camp I didn't understand her enthusiasm! These are comfortable in both wet or dry conditions. I bought them for use at our summer trailer in Canada, and found I used them year round, even back at home. My experience with most camp shoes are that once they get wet, they don't dry out. My feet stayed dry until they were completly immersed in water, then dried out withing a few hours. Even when worn wet, they are comfortable and stay on your feet. They clean easily and hold thier shape. An excellent choice for hard-core campers, or the occassional RV'er who has to walk on wet morning grass. Well worth the money. My first pair is still in good shape and I have used them constantly for 3 years.

I love these slippers! They are the second pair I have had. Very, very comfortable and adjustable width.

I am so bummed about these slippers :( They looked so comfortable & cushy. The deep foot bed you see in the picture is 90% hard plastic, not cushion. Also, the velcro top seems to come up too high on the foot and restricts walking a bit, but that could also be due to the inflexible sole too. The fabric is super soft, but if you are looking for something to pamper your tired tootsies, keep looking.

Slippers were nice. Size on box was marked 9 to 10.5. I needed a 10 for my step son but slippers were too tight. When ordering this item, order the next size up for best fit.

Yea, they work great and all.... For 2 weeks. After that, there is no memory foam, and they provide no warmth at all. After the first week, the soles are cracking and the grips are falling off of them. Pieces of thread are also falling off of them. NEVER BUY THESE!!!

At first, these fit well and felt comfortable, but did a lot of shedding of black fuzz. The black fuzz looks bad on light carpet and gets all over bed sheets. I washed them to see whether the shedding would stop. Washing did reduce the shedding, but it did not stop -- and the comfort was gone.

These are great slippers for my dad who is 93. They have a medium sole so that he doesn't have any fear of slipping or sliding on hardwood or linoleum floors. He says they are very comfortable and warm.

I love my "Isotoner Floral Embroidered Clog Slippers." The color is exactly like the photo and they are comfortable and cute.

The isotoner slippers fit perfectly and look great. Have always had good luck with their products and this was no different.

Walking around in these are like having on horse shoes. Cu-lump....cu-lump. The soles are rigid. I was looking for some house slippers that were less slippery than the ballerina Isotoners...but but these are it.

I am on my 9th pair of these slippers. I have them in all colors! They are fantastic, comfortable, pretty and when you need to wash them just toss them in the wash and let them air dry. Sometimes my husband likes to slip them on for emergencies and he stretches them out. I just pop them in the wash and they come right back to shape. I am rough on these and they hold up great! I got a couple of other brands of slippers as gifts and just did not like them. These are the best!

It's a nice comfy shoe. I wish it would have a shaped insole as some others do. I only wear it with socks as feet get tot sweaty without them..Nice style.

During my pregnancy I've been wearing regular tennis shoes, but when we were going to be flying 12+ hours in my 7th month I knew I needed something easy to slip on and off to give my feet a rest and get through security faster. I bought these on sale and I'm actually considering getting another pair to switch off with (I try to switch off between shoes every other day so they don't get stinky). Most shoes like this bother my heels or give me blisters, but these have not done either. The material is soft enough to not be uncomfortable, but rigid enough to not slip off my feet (unless I want to take them off, which is really easy to do without hands). I have them in the mostly-mesh version (Navy, the third choice), but this mesh material seems to be just part of the fashion of the shoe and not actually functional (the inside is fully lined). I'd highly recommend these during pregnancy!

These shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes I ever bought. I really enjoy wearing them. I have very flat feet and my feet never seem to hurt. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I am a nurse who is on my feet 8 hours a day. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my 30 + year career. Over time, they hold up well and do not look worn out. I buy two pairs at a time just to be sure.

Before you decide based on my 1-star not to buy these, my review is based on the pair I received. I have had two other of these, but in brown/light brown. Both are very comfortable and I've worn them in the snow. My feet were warm and I didn't slide. (They're probably not designed for snow, though). With these black units, my heals kept coming out. Took me a while to figure out why. The elastic on the top wasn't strong enough -- not like my other colors. I called Merrill, and they sent me new inserts and I wore thicker socks. Same thing. I just sent them to Merrill for inspection. Based upon the new ones they send me, I may change this review.

They are my son's 5th pair. He only wears Merrell jungle moc since he was 8 years old. He loves them.

Trying to locate a Merrell shoe in various styles, colors, and sizes is a joke if you live in Michigan. Amazon, Shoemania will be my store of choice after making my first purchase. The store had numerous styles and colors in the size shoe I needed. Delivery was fast especially during the busy December holiday season. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE!

I have been very pleased with several pairs of Merrell shoes and boots in the past, so I thought I would give these a try. A local store did not have my size, but after trying on pairs that were a half-size too large or too small, I decided that my normal size would be a good fit and ordered them on line. I have been wearing the shoes almost continuously in the week since they arrived, and they are very comfortable. Usually, I have difficulty wearing slip-on shoes, because I have a high instep, but these are great. They get four stars rather than five only because I do not know how well they will wear.

I was in a store where Merrell's are sold and a customer who was wearing an older pair of jungle mocs said that they where the best shoes ever. He then bought another pair of hiking boots by Merrell. His enthusiasim was cause for me to try them, and what a great choice. Everyone should wear these.

I bought a half size bigger so that I can put my UGG sheep skin insoles in them for added comfort.

This is such a comfortable shoe! Even without socks, my feet stay toasty. I got my regular size which works with both socked and bare feet.

I love these shoes. The color is awesome and they are incredibly comfortable. It's freezing outside - but my feet are warm and snug!

I love Merrells, and I love this particular shoe, in terms of comfort and style. This pair has hardly been off my feet since I bought them about a month ago. That being said, they now look really awful... something spilled on them; I used a professional suede cleaning product, but the result is a worn and splotchy-looking shoe that I'm almost embarrassed to wear. Very disappointed that they don't wear better, given the price, and the fact that they're obviously intended to be rugged/winter/outdoor/sport/hiking type shoes.

These shoes are AMAZING! I wear these all of the time- they are so comfortable! The tread is great and I am never afraid of slipping! The quality is worth the price!
