I am in and out of the house and barnyard all day, so I need waterproof footwear that is easy to slip on and off. These work fine for me. The sizing is a little large and in future I will try one size down. I wish they had a little more support in the sole, but they are really ok. Time will tell how well they will last.

I purchased a much cheaper muck shoe brand (Lewis & Clarke) many years ago. Since I could not find that brand anymore I started looking around for an alternative. I discovered the muck brand online and checked everywhere for the best price but to no avail. I had no choice because I really needed this shoe for my garden work so I bit the bullet. I could not examine the shoe online and wondered if there was a big difference between brands. Fortunately it was a more substantial construction especially the sole. Very dry, comfortable, and stay on the feet. They do crack after a while. I've had 2 pair.

Muck shoes work fine while they last, but two problems: 1. Tear up work socks very fast just over the heel. 2. Cracked at the lateral toe flexion area after a little more than a year. Have had Muck boots for years and love them. Not sure I'd get Muck shoes again.

After muckin' around for about two years with less expensive and inferior products, I bit the bullet and went for a pair of MuckBoots. They are great and worth the extra money -- the fit is pefect, they are comfortable and the feet stay relatively cool in the Florida heat. I normally wear a size 10.5 shoe, so was concerned about what size to order (10 or 11). Based an another buyer's review of the product, I went for the size 10. Even with a pair of light socks, they fit perfectly. I highly recommend this product!

Excellent shoes, especially since water around camp, due to rainfall, is close to an inch all over! Keeps my feet dry and as we all know, healthy feet are of the utmost importance when outdoors! The only downside I could point out is that they flip-flop a bit, since the upper part, that holds the foot inside, is elastic. But overall, very nice comfy shoes to wander around when puddles are everywhere!

I got these to work in the yard and tend to the horses. I was a bit worried that the sole might be a bit flimsy, but these are well-made, superior quality shoes. The sole is nicely textured for slippery situations, and the shoes feels like they were molded onto my feet. I have wide feet and got the size 5. I will need to wear these shoes with thin socks. Nothing wrong with the shoe, it's my "duck feet." It has been raining for days here on the gulf coast and my feet were nice and dry as I walked around the yard. I definitely recommend these shoes and might get a pair for my friend who has horses.

I BOUGHT THESE SHOES FOR MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE LOVES DOING YARDWORK IN HIS SLIPPERS, WHICH I THINK IS TOO DANGEROUS!!! SO, NOW HE WEARS THESE MUCK BOOTS AND "LOVES THEM!!" AT FIRST HE THOUGHT THEY WERE A BIT STRANGE AND HEAVY, BUT NOW, HE WEARS THEM ALL THE TIME!!! THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE!!

I've used these shoes for ages to go feed the animals, muck out stalls, take out the trash, water the plants, fetch some wood, harvest the garden, as well as inside tasks. They are easy to slip on and off without bending down, which is especially nice if they're dirty and I don't want to track anything in. The insides are fabric so I don't have to wear socks, but the fabric is slippery enough that I can still easily get them on while wearing socks. They are cushioned inside which makes them extra comfortable. They have some give to them while still being sturdy and providing more support than you'd expect. They seem to be impervious to mud and stall gunk and can be hosed off easily. The stretchy collar allows ease stepping into them while still offering a snug fit around your foot to keep bits of dirt out. I've been so pleased with mine, I bought a pair for my son as well. These are great shoes for all sorts of inside/outside casual activity.

This is my first muckboot and I am very impressed. They are great for around the yard, camping, and walking/hiking. They are extremely comfortable and very cushioned. I will always have a pair of these laying around.

Bought normal size but they were too short-had to send back and order next size up.

I love this shoe. Great for having by the back door to slip on when doing anything outside. Wished I had ordered one size larger though. Seems to run small. And it would have earned a 4 star if had a removable insole. All in all a good shoe for the price.

not just for gardening. i wear them to the pool too and other outings with jeans. cute and comfortable.

The clogs are ideal, but ordered too large, I can wear them and they are comfy with or without socks. They keep my feet reasonably clean, which was what I wanted.

A very interesting display of life on a Italian farm in the late 19th century. (I don't like to describe anyone as a "peasant".) I wonder however why no other reviewer seems to question why it was necessary to cut down a tree to make a pair of shoes (clogs). The piece of wood used was small and I saw stacks of wood all over the farm yard -- used for firewood. I guess a sequel to this film could be "The Tree of Wooden Toothpicks". PS Don't answer that maybe the tree wood had "special" qualities. --- And I did like the film, except, of course - why cut the tree?

Funny I should get this email this morning. I am so very disappointed in the quality of the vidio of this film. It is so dark at times that images are almost impossible to distinquish. I don't know if it is how this film was originally released or in the copying of the original the reproduction was of such poor quality. I honestly would like a refund. Thank you.

I looked at some of the reviews before watching "The Tree of Wooden Clogs" and I admit that I was aprehensive. Three hours of boredom seemed to be the reaction of a few reviewers. However, I sat down and relaxed and discovered a movie that had a lot to offer. This film presents an orderly, rustic society that was comprised of workers and their familes who were "attached" to a large estate. They have their places and they seem content to accept them. There is a structure from within that sustains the society and its' members. When a woman with six children loses her husband, a job is conveniently found within the community for the eldest boy so as to maintain their subsistance. Little things like this are always happening in "The Tree of Wooden Clogs"; so much so that we may be forgiven if we miss the one event that causes a family's eventual eviction. It wasn't until after the movie was over that I was able to understand it's beauty. It was a study of how a society exists and how breaking the tradition can lead to the fall. In many ways it's like "Fiddler on the Roof" without the music. We see where a small change in the fabric of a society leads to bigger things. When the traditions and the rules are obeyed, the society flourishes so much so that the society itself will accept the expusion of those who don't follows its' structure. The cinematography is excellent and I was continuously impressed with the colorful surroundings and marvelous rural sets. The actors and actresses all fit their roles as though this was their real lot in life. The director gets praise for his subtle story that is woven through the everyday life of an enjoyably amusing and endearing community. To Life! To Life! L'Chai-im!

Their little joys, untamed work spirit respect the nature (How can we forget the marvelous shot when the gradfather steals the wood for making the clogs for his grandson or when he gets excited at the moment to imagine how he will be two steps ahead his partners when the tomatoe is ready two weeks before the rest of the competence?), sorrows and the simplest things of life can offer, ellapse before our eyes with resplendent shine, marvelous photography and natural performances that will amaze you from start to finish. Awarded with the Golden Palm Cannes, 1978, this film is - at least to my mind - the best Italian film of the seventies, without any hesitation. One of these everlasting jewels that, once you have watched it, you will never forget it.

Wonderful to have this marvelous movie to share with family and friends whom I know will appreciate it. IMO, it's a genuine "classic." Great service from the seller!

Very stable, very dry, and a quality product. I wear a 15 and they seem to run exactly to size or a hair small. I wish i would have ordered a 16 because they are snug with the winter socks on. I would absolutely purchase another Bogs product and I am looking into the higher boot for hunting.

The very best thing about them that I didn't know, until after I received them, is that you can slip your foot right into them without having to bend down and use your fingers. A BIG plus when you have 3 dogs waiting for you to take them out! I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

Got these for a gift for my husband who desparately needed some tough yard shoes. He loved them and they are holding up really well.

I bought these shoes for my son-in-law and he absolutely LOVES them! I have now ordered a pair for my husband and a friend's son because they tried them on and thought they were amazing and they each wanted a pair. These are definitely quality shoes. I would recommend them for sure!

I've been wearing the Bogs Men's Valley Walker (a slip on shoe) for several years. They are my favorite shoes because they are extremely comfortable and are waterproof. I live in the Seattle area where it rains a lot and these waterproof shoes are perfect for doing outdoor activities including walking my dog. I will be buying my fourth pair in a few months...Yes, the sole does eventually wear down but it takes a long time. I highly recommend these shoes.

I selected the size 10 (shoe size 7-9) sock and it is way to short (I am a size 7.5 to 8). I thought it might stretch after wear but it did not and it leaves my toes uncomfortable cramped inside my hiking boot. It seems like a good quality sock, I just wish the sizing was more accurate.

Thick and cushioned but not hot or clingy; they hold up beautifully to washing as well.

I have been buying Thorlo socks for decades. I just bought several pairs of these in black and the Thorlo quality is every bit as good as they used to be. These socks are so comfortable, great in summer as well as winter and not just for hiking. These are wonderful for walking the city pavements but you have to have shoes that are roomy enough to fit these wonderfully plush padded absorbent socks. These are a treat for your feet!

I was discussing survival techniques with an Army officer who recommended Thorlo socks for warmth. I bought some for that purpose, for power outages, cold Winter weather, etc., and never have wanted any other kind since. They last for years and I wear them every day, Winter and Summer, usually without shoes since I work from home, sometimes with shoes on 3-mile walks. These are everything I want in a sock. I highly recommend them. Be careful to choose the right color.

The shoes were purchased for a CNA but she said they weren't quite wide enough to work comfortably for her so returned.

After reading the reviews, these were exactly what I expected. Not conventionally comfortable in that they are cushiony but the support is so excellent that they feel very comfortable. They look great with my jeans or khakis. I'm just sad it's too warm to wear them now. They are in the closet waiting for fall to arrive.

Great quality and good deal. However, I couldnt get my size right online, but would definitely be on the look out for these shoes. I guess I d better go to a store and buy it physically to get a better fit. its really hard to estimate the size online. however, i would still recommend this product, they shipped it in time, i got it in great condition and when i returned it the money was returned back to me within 2 days. i really appreciate that and would certainly recommend this product and the dealer highly for their prompt service.

This is my second pair of Danskos, and I definitely notice a decrease in quality from the pair I've had for 5 years. Also, these shoes say "made in Brazil" on them - has Dansko started outsourcing? Additionally, Amazon needs to improve their description of Danskos, because I did not realize there was any real difference between the box leather and cabrio leather shoes (since the description is the same and they look the same in the pictures), but after googling it, I found this info. on the Dansko Outlet page: "Box leather is ideal for workplace environments with wet, acidic or greasy conditions. It has a smooth, clean finish that can easily be maintained. Care Instructions: Use a damp soapy cloth or sponge to remove surface dirt. Do not saturate the leather. Ordinary scuff marks may be touched up with shoe polish. Cabrio leather features a black top coat that provides a high-gloss shine and dressy appeal. Cabrio Leather is not recommended for occupational use in the medical or culinary industry. Care Instructions: To remove surface dirt, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth." I wish I had known this before purchasing the cabrio shoes because I think I may have bought the wrong shoe. I am considering trying to exchange these for the box leather shoes.

Dansko shoes, particularly the professional clogs (worn by all the nurses at my local hospital ICU, by the way) have the BEST arch support in the world, in my opinion. I have Dansko shoes in four colors, plus several different styles. I wear a size "39" (European sizing), which is somewhere between a women's 8 1/2 and 9. The only drawback (other than the fact that they aren't very sexy) is that the thick rubber sole (which helps give the shoe the arch it needs) tends to cause me to trip and I have almost twisted my ankle on hardwood or tile several times, so be aware of this possible problem if you order a pair. As noted above, I own a lot of Dansko shoes, so don't let this problem stop you from trying a pair. If you have plantar fasciitis or a very high arch that tends to "fall" or otherwise hurt, try Dansko, Merrell and Nike's Shox (especially the Navina model). Recommended!
